A Comprehensive Three-Day Istanbul Excursion by Our İİSBF Students

Our Faculty of Economics, Administrative and Social Sciences students participated in a comprehensive trip to Istanbul under the guidance of Mehdi Sosar, research assistant from the Department of Political Science and International Relations, and Kadir Çırağ, research assistant from the Department of Business Administration. The first two days of the three-day program were dedicated to a fascinating journey into Istanbul's deep-rooted history. During this time, the İİSBF delegation integrated with the city's rich cultural texture by visiting our globally renowned historical sites such as the Topkapı and Dolmabahçe Palaces, as well as Sultanahmet Square, grand imperial (selatin) mosques, and important museums.

On the third day of the program, our students had the opportunity to get a closer look at the worlds of administration and academia. Starting the day with a visit to the Istanbul Governorship, our team was hosted by Deputy Governor Mr. Yücel Gemici for an inspiring conversation about administrative processes. After the governorship visit, our İİSBF students proceeded to Istanbul University, where they attended a class as guest students. This event became a versatile experience that broadened the horizons of our students from various departments.
