Leadership in Public Administration: Career Journey in the District Governorship Profession Panel by Our Faculty

Organized by our Faculty of Economics, Administrative and Social Sciences, a significant panel titled "Leadership in Public Administration: Career Journey in the District Governorship Profession" was held at the university conference hall. Serving as a strong guide for our students aiming for a career in the public sector, the event featured Antalya Deputy Governor Ayhan Yazgan, Gündoğmuş District Governor Erdal Bilgiç, and Döşemealtı District Governor Ünal Çakıcı as distinguished speakers.

Moderated by our Faculty Dean Prof. Sefa Çetin, who brings his own background in civil administration as a former district governor and deputy governor, the panel was conducted in a dynamic chat and Q&A format. During the program, which garnered great interest and was attended by academics along with their classes, the dynamics and career processes of the civil administration profession were discussed in detail. The event, where students had the opportunity to direct their questions straight to the civil administrative officers, concluded highly productively in terms of professional vision.
