Panel on "Contemporary Approaches and Diplomatic Perspectives on Cyprus” Held

The Department of Political Science and International Relations organized an important panel entitled “Contemporary Approaches and Diplomatic Perspectives on Cyprus” on Wednesday, May 13, 2026. The English-language event featured Ambassador Deha Erpek, Representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Antalya, and Aslı Erkmen, Consul General of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus in Antalya. They shared their valuable knowledge, insights, and experiences with the attendees.

During the panel, the Cyprus issue was examined from a multidimensional perspective, considering both its historical depth and contemporary political developments. The event concluded successfully following a highly productive questions and answers session between our esteemed guests and our students.
