Faculty Students in Ankara: Visits to the Grand National Assembly, Anıtkabir, National Library, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs

On April 24–25, 2025, the Faculty of Economics, Administrative and Social Sciences organized a trip to Ankara, including visits to the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye (TBMM), Anıtkabir, the National Library, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' Center for Strategic Research. A total of 22 students, including international students from five different countries, participated in this enriching academic and cultural experience.

On the first day of the trip, students toured the impressive Cihannüma Hall and current exhibitions of the National Library, accompanied by a guide. Later, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ Center for Strategic Research, an interactive session was held with the participation of the First Secretary Mr. Seyfullah Semerci, who gave a presentation followed by a Q&A session. The meeting offered students a valuable opportunity to gain firsthand insight into the world of diplomacy.

On the second day, the group visited Anıtkabir under the guidance of Dr. Ali Açıkgöz, an expert in Political History. The visit to the mausoleum of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk was followed by a briefing on the legislative process at the Grand National Assembly and a guided tour of the parliament, marking the conclusion of the program.
