Open Academic Positions in Faculty of Engineering
The College of Engineering at Antalya Bilim University (ABU) invites applications for a one year non-tenure-track faculty position in the areas listed below.  The successful candidates must hold Ph.D. degree in a closely related fields and must be committed to excellence in teaching and research. The positions are renewable annually at the discretion of the University Administration. Faculty seeking sabbatical leave are encouraged to apply for the positions as well.
Responsibilities of successful candidates will include teaching at the undergraduate level, working with the faculty on existing research projects, and developing new funded research opportunities in the area of their specialty. Additional requirements include reporting the research findings to the funding agencies, presenting in national and international conferences, and publishing articles in refereed journals.
Positions are available at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor levels in the following departments and areas of specialty:
Civil Engineering (CE): Structural, Geotechnical, and Building Materials
Computer Science (CS): Computer Science, and Computer Hardware
Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE): Power Electronics, and Control 
Industrial Engineering (IE):  Operational Research
Material Science and Nanotechnology (MSN): Polymer Science, Ceramic Engineering, Composite Materials, and Metallurgy
Mechanical Engineering (ME): Fluid Mechanics, Design and Manufacturing, Energy, Thermodynamics, and Machine Theory and Dynamics

Salary: Assistant Professors: 8,250 TL, Associate Professors: 10,500 TL, Full Professor: 12,500 TL 
Accommodations: Free housing, transportation, and lunch on campus, publication and presentation awards, round trip travel expenses, and 20 days paid vacation per year.

Teaching and Research Load per Semester: Assistant and Associate Professors: Teaching (60%, three courses) and Research (40%).  Full Professor: Teaching (40%, two courses) and Research (60%). Teaching and research loads can be negotiated with the University Administration.
