AIM

Department of Nutrition and Dietetics; in all areas of nutrition,  aims to carry out its activities as a department that carries out applications and research in various fields such as seeking, suggesting and implementing solutions to improve the country's nutritional level, determining and directing the country's food and nutrition plans and policies, nutrient analysis, determining the nutritional needs of different age groups, regulation and implementation of diets specific to diseases, management and organization of food service in establishments that provide collective nutrition service.

Educational purpose of the Nutrition and Dietetics Program:

*Providing adequate and balanced nutrition for the individual and society in order to protect, improve and develop the health of the individual and society throughout life and to increase the quality of life,

*In accordance with the qualifications determined within the framework of international professional standards,

* Having scientific and ethical values ​​in the light of universal values,

*To train "Dietitians" who follow, research and apply the developments in the science of nutrition and dietetics.
