Fatma Bike KOCAOĞLU

Prof. Dr.Bike Kocaoğlu, who has been leading and helping develop the food and beverage sector for 30 years in Turkey founded the Food and Beverage Management programme at the Department of Tourism Management at Boğaziçi University in 1986 and directed it until 2004. Having moved to Yeditepe University in 2004, Prof Dr. Kocaoğlu established the first Gastronomy and Culinary Arts Programme in Turkey at the Faculty of Fine Arts there where she was assigned as Dean for two semesters. Since then she has played a major role in the expansion and development of this programme at various Turkish universities. Following her directorship at the Doors Academy between 2013 and 2014, Prof. Dr. Kocaoğlu started at the School of Tourism, Antalya Bilim University in 2016 where she established a new Gastronomy and Culinary Arts Programme from scratch in 2017, of which she is currently Dean.
