Antalya Bilim University Faculty of Tourism accepted its first students in the 2012-2013 academic year with the Department of Tourism Management and in the 2017-2018 academic year with the Department of Gastronomy and Culinary Arts. Our faculty offers education and training with an experienced and qualified academic staff that offers contemporary, high quality education programs that meet the needs of the sector. In the first year of undergraduate education, students of our faculty acquire basic theoretical knowledge in the field of Tourism Management and Gastronomy and Culinary Arts. In addition, they transform their theoretical knowledge into practice by participating in internship programs lasting 120 days in total during the summer semesters of the second and third academic years. The tourism sector continues to grow both worldwide and in our country with its dynamic structure, constantly developing nature and high economic contribution. In this context, our faculty aims to educate qualified individuals with high intellectual accumulation, who can analyze the current situation and develop strategic plans for the future, which are needed by the sector as well as public and educational institutions. Students who graduate from our department have the opportunity to be employed in tourism and hotel businesses and food and beverage businesses in line with their competencies and career expectations.
