The Tourism Professionals of the Future Project is a cooperation project between Antalya Bilim University (ABU), Rixos and Barut Hotels in line with the objectives of the Ministry of National Education and Tourism, with the aim of training future tourism managers, closing the qualified labour shortage in the tourism sector and enabling vocational high school graduates to continue their university education.
Thanks to the ABU Future Tourism Professionals Project, İbrahim Kaan Kızıl and Fatih Kamil Yavuz started their studies at ABU's cookery and gastronomy and culinary arts departments. Within the framework of this project, lunch expenses will be covered by ABU and tuition fees will be covered by ABU partner hotels Barut and Rixos. The students will also do their internships at the hotels in each year of their respective higher education programmes to gain work experience. Students who will do internships in different departments during their university education will be given employment priority after graduation.
