Tourism Week Events / April 19–20, 2022
In collaboration with the Faculty of Tourism, a comprehensive program comprising two field trips, one panel discussion, and two keynote presentations was organized as part of Tourism Week events on April 19–20. The first day (April 19) commenced with an awareness field trip to the ancient city of Sillyon. On the second day, a panel discussion on 'Cultural Tourism and Sustainability' was held under the moderation of Dr. Caner Ünal. Following the panel, Dr. Çağla Çavuşoğlu McKenzie delivered a presentation titled 'Geographical Indications and Tourism,' and Ümit Işın presented on the 'Pisidia Cultural Heritage Route.' The program concluded with an excursion along the historic Döşemealtı route.
