Biography (Speaker):
Prof. Dr. Ahmet Çabuk graduated from Eskişehir Osmangazi University (ESOGÜ), Faculty of Science and Literature, Department of Biology in 1999. He received the title of associate professor in the field of Basic and Industrial Microbiology in 2009 and was appointed as a professor in 2014.
Prof. Dr. Ahmet Çabuk has held various administrative positions since 2008 and served as commission members of ministries. Between 2013-2018, he was the founding manager of ESOGÜ Technology Transfer Office Research and Application Center (ETTOM).
Between 2016-2019, he served as a member of the Ministry of Science, Industry and Technology, Public-University-Industry Cooperation Working Group and Eskişehir Provincial Representative. He served as the Vice Rector of Eskişehir Osmangazi University between 2017-2019. Prof. Dr. Ahmet Çabuk has been working as the Head of the Interdisciplinary Biotechnology and Biosafety Department of ESOGÜ Institute of Science, which he started in 2012.
Prof. Dr. Ahmet Çabuk is the Chairman of the Board of Microbiota Biotechnology Inc., operating in Eskişehir Technology Development Zone, of which he was a founding partner in 2015. He is a member of the Biologists Association, the European Biotechnology Federation and the Biotechnology Association. He is still a member of the Board of Biotechnology Association.
Prof. Dr. Ahmet Çabuk graduated 22 master's and 5 doctoral students. He has 81 articles published in national / international journals, 106 papers presented at national / international congresses, 34 scientific research projects in which he participated as executive and researcher, and chapter authors in international books and patents in his field.
