At this year's Gastro Antalya international gastronomy festival, we contributed once again with an academic presentation focusing on Geographical Indications (GIs). Following the keynote session, a specialized panel discussion was held with esteemed chefs Barış Keskin and Salim Göksun to examine culinary professionals' perspectives on certified regional products. The session explored the strategic significance of GI-tagged ingredients in professional culinary arts, their role in preserving regional heritage, and their creative integration into contemporary menus.
