Antalya International University (AIU) in Turkey invites applications for tenured or tenuretrack faculty positions in electrical and electronics engineering. Disciplinary areas of particular interest to this search include, but not limited to, information theory, telecommunication systems, microelectronics, biomedical engineering, signal processing, optics, photonics, microwave applications, power electronics, power distribution, electric vehicles, smart grid, and renewable energy. The position is anticipated to be filled at the assistant professor rank, however, appointments at the associate and full professor levels might be considered for outstanding candidates.
The targeted start date for the position is September 1, 2017, and the search will remain open until the position is filled. The successful candidate will be expected to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in a field of electrical and electronics engineering, develop a sponsored research program, advice and mentor students at the undergraduate and graduate level, collaborate with other faculty in multidisciplinary research, interact and participate in outreach activities, and be involved in service to the institute and the profession. The successful applicant must have earned a Ph.D. degree in electrical and electronics engineering or in a closely related field, and should have an excellent command of English.
