Our department arranged an informative technical visit to ARES Shipyards on December 12, 2023, at 09:30. By engaging themselves in the complex world of exquisitely created yacht designs, students specializing in Interior Architecture and Environmental Design expanded their understanding of interior design during the visit. The visit afforded our students the chance to carefully inspect the procedures involved in the construction of yachts and was met with enthusiastic involvement.
We extend sincere appreciation to our kind hosts; Yacht Interior Architect Ayşe KAYA, Human Resources Specialist Bilge DÖNMEZ, and Dündar YALÇIN Occupational Health and Safety Expert who accompanied us during our technical trip.
During the trip, we learned about the concepts that combine design and workmanship, the meticulous organization of applied systems' details, and the aesthetic nuances of materials used in vessel interior designs. Our students' knowledge of the industry was enhanced by this exceptional opportunity provided by ARES Shipyards, and it also encouraged the growth of their imaginative ideas. As seen by this industry-university alliance, our students' cooperation with the ARES family had a lasting impact on their future projects and professions.
