On September 25, 2025, an orientation program was held for our first-year students who have newly joined the Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design at the Faculty of Fine Arts and Architecture of our university. The program began with a detailed presentation introducing the department, providing students with fundamental information about the discipline of interior architecture.
The orientation presentation offered a comprehensive overview of interior architecture education, covering the structure and content of practical, theoretical, and studio courses. The program continued with an interactive session aimed at introducing the department’s academic staff, featuring a speech by the Head of the Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design, Asst. Prof. Dr. Buket ŞENOĞLU.
During the presentation, detailed information about the university, faculty, and department was shared with the students, and their questions were answered. Following the orientation session, senior students from the Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design, Doruk ÖZSEVİM, Emine KARA, İrem SÖKMEN, Rukhshona KIMSANOVA and Malika LEPIEV delivered a presentation in which they shared their student experiences, course processes, and insights about the department.
This event aimed to help our students gain a deeper understanding and awareness of the interior architecture profession. The program, which provided guidance in professional practices and ethics, offered valuable insights into the standards and ethical principles of the discipline. We sincerely thank all our first-year students for their participation, our senior students for their valuable contributions, and our esteemed academic staff for their efforts in making this meaningful orientation program possible.
