15.04.2026 | Indoor Acoustic Comfort and Feltouch PET Felt Applications - Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design

Within the scope of the events organized by the Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design at the Faculty of Fine Arts and Architecture of Antalya Bilim University, open to the participation of all department students, Marketing and Human Resources Coordinator Necmi ÇIRAN from Feltouch, a company standing out with its sustainable acoustic design solutions, is hosted as a guest speaker. During the presentation, while the general principles of acoustics and the fundamental differences in acoustic insulation are conveyed to the students in detail, innovative approaches that strengthen spatial perception are discussed. How acoustic design is not limited solely to wall and ceiling panels but is integrated with different disciplines such as lighting and furniture is presented with visual richness through exemplary projects. Offering an interactive learning environment, the event provides students with the opportunity to closely experience the textural and technical properties of the materials by personally examining the recycled PET felt samples passed around. In the gathering where the sectoral curiosities of the students are addressed through a simultaneous Q&A session, a demo of the mobile application that the company will launch in the future is also introduced, drawing attention to the integration of technology into design processes.
