Within the scope of the IAED 4102 Interior Architectural Project Management course, conducted by the Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design at the Faculty of Fine Arts and Architecture of Antalya Bilim University, under the coordination of Asst. Prof. Dr. Başak KARADUMAN and accompanied by Res. Asst. Müge DEVELİER, events focusing on sectoral knowledge sharing are consistently being organized. Accordingly, Interior Architect Ceren ACAR, the founder of Ceren Acar Interiors, was hosted as a guest speaker. Sharing her own company's establishment processes, office dynamics, and professional workflow with the students during the event, the speaker conveys real sector experiences regarding project management elements such as business development, budgeting, invoicing, and scheduling. This gathering, which focuses on how design decisions are implemented in the field, ensures that students gain in-depth knowledge of service tools such as contract documents, budgets, and technical specifications. Through the challenges encountered during project applications and solution methods, professional ethics and related regulations are discussed; thus, it is aimed for students to become aware of technologically based collaboration methods for built environment disciplines. Guiding young professionals through her own entrepreneurial story and the impact of regional markets on design practices, the speaker concretely demonstrates both the design and application dimensions of the interior architecture profession. As the Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design at Antalya Bilim University, we extend our deepest gratitude to the Founder of Ceren Acar Interiors, Interior Architect Ms. Ceren ACAR, for sharing her valuable experiences regarding professional processes with our students.
