Within the scope of the events organized by the Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design at the Faculty of Fine Arts and Architecture of Antalya Bilim University, open to the participation of all department students, Prof. Buğru Han Burak KAPTAN, a faculty member at the Department of Interior Architecture, Faculty of Architecture and Design at Eskişehir Technical University, was hosted as a guest speaker with the talk titled The Sectoral Structuring of the Interior Architecture Profession within the Scope of Recognition of Professional Qualifications. During the seminar, current problems encountered in interior architecture education, definitions of professional competence, and the legal rights possessed by members of the profession are discussed in detail, thereby increasing the professional awareness of the students. The event, in which comprehensive information regarding the legal framework and functioning of the UCTEAC hamber of Interior Architects is presented, ensures that young designer candidates gain in-depth knowledge about professional ethics, regulations, and statutes. Through the discussions held on the past, present, and future of the interior architecture profession concept, students acquire the necessary background regarding the legal and administrative processes they will face before stepping into professional life.
