Design Talk with Interior Architect Efe URGUNLU | 07 March 2024

On Thursday, March 7th, at 13:30, in the conference hall of our university, we hosted a design talk moderated by Associate Professor Dr. Shirin Izadpanah, the head of the Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design, with Interior Architect Efe URGUNLU, the founder of No:3 Design and co-founder of Atelier Terra Madre. Our discussion on “Design and Interior Architecture in Gastronomy Venues” made a significant contribution to the future interior designers with the enthusiastic participation of our department's students.

During the talk, our guest designer not only shared his precious experiences but also presented valuable examples of gastronomy design to our students. Embracing a unique and original design philosophy, No:3 Design reflects a perfect blend of modern and traditional styles. Designs brought together with various materials demonstrated to our students the balance between aesthetics and functionality within chaos, showing them that there can be order even within chaos. Through this talk, our students had the opportunity to examine various design approaches and understand the importance of user-centric design. We extend our gratitude to Interior Designer Efe URGUNLU for his valuable contributions.
